Feel Better, Live Brighter

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to take the next step, let this be your sign.

Apricity is the warmth of the sun on a cold winter day. To me, it represents finding moments of warmth, hope, and possibility even in life’s most difficult seasons. Therapy can be a space to heal from what has hurt you, reconnect with yourself, and begin moving toward a life that feels meaningful and authentically yours.

Molly Martin, LPC

Hi, I’m Molly, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should be a space where you feel both safe enough to be honest and supported enough to grow. I have experience working with clients in PHP and IOP settings, as well as with women’s mental health, trauma and anxiety, and substance use recovery. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when you feel genuinely understood, not judged or told what you should do.

I place a strong emphasis on building trust and creating a sense of safety while also gently challenging the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I deeply value your autonomy and believe you are the expert on your own life. Rather than telling you what decisions to make, I’ll help you slow down, explore what’s underneath the struggle, identify what matters most to you, and develop the clarity and confidence to make choices that align with the life you want. Therapy isn’t about becoming someone else, it’s about becoming more fully yourself.

Areas of Focus

Trauma & Distressing Memories
Heal from experiences that continue to affect how you feel, think, and connect. EMDR and trauma-informed therapy can help you process the past, develop a greater sense of safety, and reconnect with yourself.

Anxiety & Overthinking
Move beyond cycles of worry, perfectionism, self-criticism, and avoidance. Together, we’ll work toward understanding your anxiety while building the freedom to live according to your values rather than your fears.

Substance Use & Recovery
Recovery is about more than stopping a behavior, it’s about creating a life you genuinely want to return to. Therapy can help you understand the patterns beneath substance use, develop healthier ways of coping, and build a meaningful life in recovery.

Women’s Mental Health
A space to explore the unique pressures, expectations, relationships, and transitions that can shape women’s mental health. We’ll work toward greater self-understanding, confidence, and connection with the person you want to be.

Life Transitions & Personal Growth
Sometimes nothing is “wrong,” but something no longer feels right. Therapy can provide space to navigate transitions, relationships, identity, career changes, and the uncertainty that comes with becoming something new.

Self-Worth & Identity
Explore the beliefs and experiences that have shaped how you see yourself. Together, we can challenge patterns of self-criticism and help you develop a stronger, more authentic sense of self.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a trauma-focused therapy that helps the brain process distressing experiences that may still feel emotionally or physically present long after they happened. Through guided bilateral stimulation and a supportive, structured process, EMDR can help reduce the intensity of painful memories, beliefs, and body responses while creating space for new perspectives and a greater sense of safety.

EMDR can be helpful not only for significant trauma, but also for anxiety, difficult life experiences, relationship wounds, and other experiences that continue to impact how you feel, think, or respond today.
